RAJA SINGH COLLEGE is situated 5 km away from din & bustle of the town in Andar Road, Siwan, It was established in 16th July 1971 and became affiliated in the same year from Bihar University, Muzaffarpur. The year 1980 was auspicious year for this college when it was declared as constituent unit by the Govt. of Bihar (Patna) and now this College is constituent unit of J.P. University, Chapra. This college became affiliated with University Grant Commission (Delhi) under section 2 (F) and 12 (B) on 17th September 1984.
- Raja Singh College imparts education in faculties of Arts, Science, and Professional courses (distance mode of education) of J.P University, Chapra.
- We have 15 permanent teaching staff and 4 Research Scholors,who also impart teaching duty. Most of the teachers of this college are academically sound and they possess Ph.D. degree.Some of the teachers of this college are highly involved in Research work.
- This college comes in the area of SC/ST and the Number of SC/ST students are much higher and it is about 21 to 40%.Among all the percentage of girl students are 50 to 51%.
